MIDLAND PARK, NEW JERSEY, April 27, 2009 — Lifepoint Informatics has finalized an agreement with H2H Solutions to provide its thousands of physician clients across the country with access to the state-of-the-art e-Prescribing Digital Rx™ product. Digital Rx provides physicians with the ability to send their electronically prepared prescriptions to virtually any pharmacy in the country with the click of their mouse.
H2H and Lifepoint, using a solution developed by J2 Interactive, have closely integrated Digital Rx into the Lifepoint InfoHub, allowing seamless interaction between the two platforms. The system delivers legible electronic prescriptions to pharmacists, eliminating the potential complications associated with illegible handwriting that have occurred in the past. The system also provides physicians with decision support notifications pertaining to any potentially negative drug-drug, drug-food, or drug-allergy warnings that could affect their patients.
