J2 Interactive has partnered with TeamHealth throughout the years, first at IPC The Hospitalist Company (before its acquisition by TeamHealth), and then in the years following.
IPC originally worked with J2 in the early stages of their interface migration project, where they called upon the team to conduct a comprehensive best-practices review of their technical infrastructure’s configuration, backups, and disaster recovery. Our review also included a detailed walkthrough of existing interfaces, recommendations for code promotion and deployment strategies, and a high-level project plan for completing the full set of IPC’s planned interface migrations. The result of J2’s services allowed IPC’s internal resources to take full ownership of their integration projects.
After IPC’s acquisition, TeamHealth brought J2 on board to provide ongoing support, in addition to completing new projects. TeamHealth tasked the J2 team with developing and testing more than 130 HL7 interfaces in just three months. This project included a migration from their current infrastructure to Cloverleaf, and our team tackled this challenge by providing them with solid processes, testing automation, and on-time delivery of all milestones. Impressed by J2’s performance, TeamHealth extended the contract for J2 to provide Cloverleaf training, extensive statistical analysis, and alert monitoring automation. J2 continues to act as a primary resource supporting this client.
